Job Purpose
Overseeing the overall development of the strategies and business models for the various assets, and
monitor the performance of assets and asset operators against targets and KPIs and ensure timely
delivery of update/ progress reports.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development of the strategies and business models for the various assets, along with targets and KPIs, in coordination with the Strategy and PMO team.
  • Ensure and approve the development of feasibility studies for the company's assets; and ensure review is conducted by the Finance team. 
  • Manage the potential partnership models and developers/ operators/ asset managers of the various assets.
  • Manage the outsourcing of design and construction requirements and ensure the development of the center in accordance with the master plan and maintain constant coordination on the progress of the project.
  • Ensure that the asset policies, processes, and procedures are in line with the relevant procedural/ legislative requirements and quality standards.
  • Oversee and maintain relationships with operators, and oversee adherence to commercial agreements and strategic objectives and maximization of profits.
  • Review and approve d approve the identification and tendering process for RFPs, and ensure proper onboarding of operators.
  • Manage the pricing strategies for the assets and encourage optimization through various revenue management tools.
  • Establish and finalize contracts with developers/asset managers/ operators on different partnership models (including negotiating the bigger contracts).
  • Oversee and monitor the performance of assets and asset operators against targets and KPIs and ensure timely delivery of update/ progress reports.
  • Ensure operations/ construction timelines are met by the developers/ asset managers and operators.
Managerial/General Responsibilities
  • Act as a member of the executive management team, and participate in the development and refinement of overall vision, strategy, and objectives.
  • Direct and formulate the implementation of the divisional strategy, processes, and policies, in line with vision, mission, and corporate objectives.
  • Oversees that the overall business strategy/ objectives and ensure its translated into operational business plans and targets for the division and performance is monitored, measured, and reported.
  • Ensure that all divisional reports are completed timely and comply with policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Direct the preparation of periodical management reports/ progress reports to keep senior management informed about the progress of various initiatives and to facilitate decision-making.
  • Oversees the preparation and consolidation of the divisional budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget.
  • Ensure that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues; areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
  • Provide overall direction for the effective achievement of divisional objectives through effective leadership and by setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating team to maximize performance.
  • Provide overall direction and guidance to mentor, coach, motivate and challenge the direct reports and their teams, providing opportunities for growth, training, and development.
  • Ensure the alignment with Business partners / HR function in hiring and onboarding the required resources according to the manpower plan and requirements of the department.
  • Ensure the alignment with Business partners / HR function direct the development of the divisional structures so that resources are optimally utilized, and communication can take place efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure effective staffing, professional development, and deployment of staff in the sector.
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or management

  • Written and Oral proficiency in Arabic & English languages.
